these clocks came off a the later type mg montego i should know i broke montegos for years

Nope, mg Efi and turbo both had 150mph speedos.

ok but my clocks was fitted to a later mg montego i had a lot of mg montegos with the same 130mph clocks

Don't know when the speedos changed but the recent 88 efi that Tanya posted has the 150 clocks. You can see it in the photos.

I have a brochure for the 2.0 GSi showing a 130mph speedo. I know its not the same car, but it is the same EFI engine and performance. Don't know if that proves anything !

I think the pre facelift MG EFI had a 130mph speedo and the Turbo 150, but all facelifted MGs had the 150 clocks, well both mine do..

i know a lot of people changed from 130 clocks to 150 because i sold a lot of 150 clocks over the years my mg montego facelift had 130mph clocks any way they both fit
