Can anyone recommend a Rover enthusiast/technician in the Birmingham area to do work on my Ledbury maestro. (So many cowboys around !)
Thanks

Rear wheel bearings are very easy to replace. Jack up car, chock front wheel, take handbrake off, Remove wheel, remove dust cap, remove split pin, undo castle nut, (left handed thread), pull off drum. Bearings knock out very easily. There's an inner and outer bearing and a spacer. Knock in new bearings and old spacer and reverse what you did to take the drum off.

thanks for your advice Jeff, but I can,t get the castle nut off its retreated back inside the hub so really do need the help of a qualified mechanic
If that's happened, just buy a long socket that's the correct size. Much cheaper
