Brightwells Auction Update

The auction of the ex-JLR collection was held yesterday (21st March) at Brightwells, Bicester. Results for the Maestro's were:
1987 MG Maestro, 72,300 miles £1800
1989 MG Maestro, 65,663 miles £2400
1990 MG Maestro Turbo (#395) 86,199 miles £5400

I didn't do too bad then paying 2400 for the red one what came on eBay last week with a few spare body panels with 74000 on the clock

Wondered who bought that turbo, didn't think it would hang about for long. Looking forward to a restoration thread Good price for the green turbo as well. Sure someone said it needed a full restoration.

It did and it has it goes for paint on the 2nd April I've lost more blood and skin cutting all the rust out of it but it's now 100% rust free and in primer waiting to go for a new green coat
