  • Gaydon - members coming from the North

    Dear All

Originally I posted a question about this show and whether there was interest in a convoy of northern based members down to the show.
I would love to be part of the Cowley convoy, but don't think I can get down early enough for that.

Anyway I will be leaving Barnsley (picking up one of the two friends who restored my Maestro) at about 7.30am, with the intention of getting to Gaydon at c. 9.30-9.45am.

I think the direct route for me is A1(M) - M1 and then M69

We could meet up at an M1 Service station perhaps?

Whether this can work will depend on people's plans.
What time are you intending to be at Gaydon?
If you are travelling from the north west are you going M62 - M6?

Anyway, just thought I'd start a discussion and see what/if we can sort something.

    Cheers

    Andrew

        Hi Ray

I am leaving Barnsley at about 7.30am in the morning, so could meet you at a service station heading south.
How does this schedule suit you?

        Andrew

I concur. Lots of Maestros and some Montegos too and it was great to meet some of their owners.

I was lucky enough to put a name to a car, having not met Chris' Sleeping Beauty before

I trust you leathered it over when you got it back, dried it and polished it
