I was thinking recently that there are certain models (particularly Montego), that I haven't seen for years. I wonder if any still exist anywhere in the country, or even if we have any in the club?

When was the last time you saw, or heard of the following models still being used or existing? What happened to all those top spec VDP and Mayfair estates with all their chrome extras? When was the last time you saw an MG Monty Turbo actually driving on the road. What happened to all the L's and HL's that used to be a very common sight on the road? I bet we'll never see a Monty HLS ever again!

It would be interesting to see how many of each saloon model & estates, still suvive in and out of the uk

For example. Zero HLS Montegos on the how many left, Ed has 2, a red one and a brown one. How many left says 6 MG Montego efi from 1984, I know of 8 that exist from that year, and I don't know of all cars from that year so there must be more about

Is this also down to spelling and spacing of the descriptions - how many left can be a bit pedantic on how the dvla entered its data which was a bit random at times... also those cars must be taxed or sorned not stuck in a shed for 20 years not on dvla records
