That looks like my old turbo #216. As it was getting worse every time I closed the tailgate another bit fell off______________________________________________

For most people yes but I always go too far so Saturday the gearbox comes off and it's getting spruced up then everything underneath the car is coming off so new springs and struts fuel lines brake lines all bushes anything that's not being replaced will be shot blasted and powder coated
I always like the car to look as good underneath as on top but body wise the car is concourse and 100% rust free so probably 3 weeks tops and it'll be tested for the first time in 13 years

Well I said to myself I wouldn't start the under bonnet restoration just the bodywork and underneath the car and I would keep the bonnet shut at shows and as you can see I've failed miserably
I had a couple of hours today just to see if certain things would shine
and before anybody asks the blue on the block is rust eating undercoat before the red topcoat then every nut bolt pipe and wire will get sorted so hopefully by Wednesday it should be finished under bonnet
