Many thanks John.
May have to work tomorrow so I put the front seats back together just now. Note the lumbar handle back on for a firmer seat as i'm old.
My camera has also just broken as there has been sand in it from Dubai beach since I went there 4 years ago and it's finally got into the works so these will be the last pictures for now.

I especially like the 'turbo'. Maestro Turbo seats would look good with something like that on them, if possible mimicking the script on the tailgate. But I have never found the exact font; it was probably a custom design so any accurate replica would probably have to be taken directly from a tailgate-decal as a reference.Regards

They weren't expensive at £50 for all embroidery and stripe sewing for all work done so I think money well spent.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car
