  • Help need a sump!

I've damaged my sump and it has already been repaired in the past so I'd like to acquire a better one - does anyone have one? It's for a Maestro Turbo, but I assume any from a 2 litre O series maestro or Montego will do.
    Cheers
    Phil

Early efi sump with return on the back will fit, later ones wont,as the return is on the front. (so Im told)

But if you can find a turbo one ....

Not that I have one, but would a TD one fit?

Mal you're slipping - it's the breather that moved from front to back, the turbo oil return is into the block not the sump. So in fact the OP needs an early Efi sump if a turbo one can't be found. I may have one - I'll take a look aorund and report back.

I have a feeling Rimmers have them again, to order. Don't shoot me if wrong, but I'm told it is a 2.0 sump for MMs.
And not listed as a sump but an 'Oil Reservoir'

                sump

Rimmers price is well into 3 figures; Phil now has a good s/hand unit.

I'd just like to thank David publically on the forum - sump arrived today and is in excellent condition as described - thanks David, helped me out quickly and easily!
