  • PG1 Gearbox selector shaft oil seal.

I appear to have lost all of my gearbox oil out of the selector shaft seal

is it possible to replace in situ?

    is this the correct part?

    its a clubman TD - http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-CDU71

If you have lost it all and driven it anywhere it is likely the gearbox is buggered! You'll have to drive it for a while to find out though!

Yes it is the right part, and no you don't have to remove it. Just prise the old one out and drift the new one in. The problem you'll have is access to get a clean purchase to either remove to especially to drift the new one in.
