    if you are buying on ebay you have 180 days warranty. Frankly a mugs game. I'd go with a decent battery with 3-5 years cover at your local independent mechanic. You can put a unipart cover or something over it for shows?

      I had a punt on a 027 'Probat' made by 'Platin' 4 year calcium battery for my TD Maestro recently. They list them as substitutes for 065 and 075s. I know the recommended fitment is an 096 but it has around 600CCA like some 096s. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MF56077-D5...AAAOSwXYtYtBxO
      They were only about £30 (£38-£40 now) last summer because the seller was a parts shop launching on ebay. I checked who the manufacturers were, it turned out they were made in Turkey by a long established maker who are recognised suppliers to Ford (they make Transits in Turkey) and also to NATO. Their 4yr 380CCA 063s are now £30. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-POLO-CA...IAAOSwagdXSzdj

      This 075 4 year calcium Hankook battery backed by the massive Korean tyre company was my second choice.

      There are lots unknown brands of dodgy batteries with worthless warranties on ebay though.

          I had a look at the 2nd link you gave;

          - big panel at the top of the page says '4 yr extended warranty' but the spec further down says '2 yr warranty'
          - the ad says 'made in the EU' - so cannot made in Turkey as they're not in the EU!
          - the ad states ' we are a new seller on e-bay and wish to build up our feedback' - load of rubbish, they registered on ebay back in 2006 !
          - although the pic at the top of the page shows a Platin battery, in the Specification section it states: 'Brand - Raylite'

          So many discrepancies that don't add up.
          All I can say is buyer beware...

                  It only cost £46 delivered. I could have got one in Halfords with a four year warranty for about twice the price.

                  If if it breaks after three years I'll buy another one. I bought the last one in 2005.
