  • Brake pipes

    Hi all.
I'm going to replace all of the brake piping that lives under the bonnet. Can can anyone confirm the size, is it 3/16 or 5mm tubing? Also, are the ends double or bubble flared?
Sods law that the brake flaring tool set I inherited from my Dad has many different sizes, including 3/16, but the only incomplete pair of dies is...... the 3/16.

    Many thanks,
    Ian

It is 3/16"... if the flaring tool is a Sykes Pickavant one the dies should be available...ends are both single and double flares if I remember rightly, probably best to do them one at a time, so you don't get any mixed up...
