i have a 1.3 petrol engine four speed for sale i believe its a A series this from a austin maestro camper van it can be seen working as i have engine to go into it but i am still touring in it at the moment it runs fine no problems

First up is just bought this camper as someone kindly wrote of the other one,and its a petrol does anyone know roughly what a full tank would do in mileage as all the dash has gone,i hope to fix this today but if i dont this would be usefull to know.

ive just replaced the water pump without removing the crankshaft as one of the alan bolts will not come off so first question is what other way to get this little blighter out ?
the other is i done every thing buy the book turned the crankshaft to drop in the drill in the camshaft...

electic windows were working then they stopped
then the van was sitting for a while wouldnt start got it going
the widows started working now the left side is still down the right side is up ive got power in switches fuses tested with tester

had a maestro 500 van on drive over winter started it after a month to take to garage to get water pump fixed as it was leaking previous to buying topped up with water it started flooding from rear of engine block found out it was one of the engine plugs like a bottle cap has...

ignition on heat light came on turned over the van nothing found there was no fuel getting to engine changed the fuel lift pump that was fixed went to start van no heat light on dash board wont start checked fuses seem ok but not sure how you no the transformer ones...
