Do they look more like these? https://www.oliveiravalentimlda.com/...ectID=42115396 If so i have some KPC1171 i can let you have. I believe these may be for an earlier Montego. Best to check with your old ones if you have any to hand before ordering the DDQ ones.

No probs, if it was me i'd invest in a Haynes manual that lists various tests using a voltmeter and an ohmmeter to check battery condition, ECU wiring connector and ECU along with battery (+) to coil (-) terminal. and others beyond my pay grade. When you say no spark at coil i assume you mean there...

Hi there, if no spark at the plug, renew the rotor arm. I have had failures of original, factory fitted, rotor arms (with the metal centre core) where the spark goes to earth instead of the spark plugs. It may be you need to turn the engine until the spark plug screw is at the top and soak the screw...

Hi Fenland Ledbury, please check this link and scroll down to Chart 2 "Emissions limits of passenger cars first used on or after 1st August 1992". Neither EFI Maestros or EFI Montegos appear in the EGA database or the in service Emissions book (i.e they are both (in effect) exempt from a CAT...

If you are still looking for the snubber rubber it is a VW part (believe or not) as fitted to MK1 VW Golfs. Here is a link but there may be others https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/364089553772 The VW part number is 171-199-339. The original Rover number was CRC5950 now obsolete according to Rimmer Bros. Hope...

If i can shove my two penneth in; i've recently brought back to life a Montego estate that had been sat dormant in a garage for 16 years and had similar issues with the electric front windows. Having exhausted everything else attention turned to the control unit (EEP0092) as mentioned by Jeff. See pictures...

Hi Kromidge, I don't have a diesel Montego however i can help with part numbers if you haven't got them already; GEX 33227 is the Rover part No and 281- 685 is a Bosal number. I've tried searching but, sorry , i can't find one anywhere. Most sites that do list them are out of stock. You could try your...

Teesdale Classic Parts list the part number but no indication of how many - however the guy that deals with the old Austin Rover stuff only works Mondays https://www.inracing.co.uk/teesdale-...catalogue-l-n/...

Your lens has the same markings as the ones i've just replaced on my Montego. Part number AHU2498 superceded by AHU 2592. I could only find second hand Austin Rover ones so opted for these which fit nicely. They have a slightly different drain hole design and lens markings but the lens colour is a nice...

It appears the Rover part number you need is GEX33473 intermediate box for 2.0i cat fitted car. The Euroflo equivalent is EXAN3023. A quick search of the usual suspects hasn't thrown any leads up but it doesn't mean someone isn't sat on stash of them and can't be bothered listing them. Ebay have a number...
