Scale Replicas - follow on from the Monstro article
I was interested to read Robert Marsh's article on model Maestros and Montegos. He didn't mention the Scalextric MG Maestro of which I have one and it's also worth mentioning for those of us who are used to making models that Shapeways do some 3D printed models as well, in Plastic Bumper, Metal Bumper...

New Exhaust for 1986 Maestro Auto 1.6
Well the time has come to replace the exhaust on Pooh2 after a few comments at the last meet! I notice that there's several exhausts on ebay for the S series 1.6 but I'm not sure if the Auto has a different set-up. I've looked at the Haynes manual and it just lists 1.3 and 1.6 so I'm guessing the auto...

It seems to be coming from the ariel housing as only that corner of the headlining is wet, the rest is bone dry. According to the Haynes manual it's...

Wanted - Front Seat
The padding on the outside of the drivers seat on Pooh Too has collapsed so I'm after another to replace it with. I assume that the front seats are interchangeable(?). If possible I want it the same colour as the current one:
Local to the West Mids would be useful, I don't...

Pooh Too - Clove Brown Maestro Auto
OK, to start off, it's name explained! We had a late 70s brown Maxi which my daughter named Pooh after the 70s fluffy seat covers (not the colour!), as the Maestro is in a similar shade of brown and had fluffy-ish sun visors we have named it "Pooh Too"!
It's a 1.6 Auto, first...

Hello!
Hi Folks! My name is Blair and we (my daughter Gael and I) are the new owners of the clove brown Maestro Auto.
I've been driving BL/BMC stuff since I started driving in the early 70s, my Dad's firm were great believers in BMC back in the 60s and 70s so I was just used to them and continued...
