About The Club

Formed in 1999, the Maestro & Montego Owners Club has worked tirelessly to further its original aim of promoting the use and preservation of Maestros and Montegos as an important part of our motoring heritage. We have grown steadily as a Club both in terms of membership and in the range of benefits and activities we offer to our members. The Maestro & Montego Owners Club is affiliated to the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) and the Federation of Austin Clubs. We will continue to work closely with these organisations and other clubs to oppose any legislation that threatens our cars or our hobby in the future. As a member of a club, we can ensure that your voice is heard.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone who owns or has an interest in Maestros and Montegos of all varieties, regardless of badge or body style.

Today, the Club has nearly 220 members of all ages, worldwide. We believe that a car club is about so much more than debating the ins and outs of carburettors, gaskets and fuel additives and this is reflected in our lively events and feature packed magazines.

With limited support and numbers on the roads in constant decline our aim has always been to help members to get the most from their cars and to make the experience of owning one even more enjoyable. The club essentially aims to take over from where Rover left off with the Maestro and Montego.

If you own a Maestro or Montego, or just have an interest in all things Austin Rover, then this is the club for you! Join us and you can be sure of a warm welcome.
