Leo is open to offers if anyone wants to try. He needs to move the car on before he plans to leave the UK and scrapping it might have to be an option

started a topic [For Sale] LHD Maestro 1.3

    LHD Maestro 1.3

Club member Leo has made contact and wishes to sell his Maestro project. this is what he says:

"I've been member of your club for some years (when I lived in Switzerland), now I'm back in Germany and England and for reasons of my age I would like to stop my Maestro-project and sell the car as it is. Do you think that this following Maestro could be interesting for one of the members of your club :

1,3 Maestro, LHD, with only 55000 km on the clock ( >> about 35000 miles)
    Colour : white
    Number plate : N542 DRP
    Built by Rodacar in 1996
    Sold by Apple 2000
First registration in UK : 1999
Sold to France in 1999 where it's never been registered for road use
Driven only in a large private area, hence the low mileage.

I've bought the car in southern France to where it's been exported in 1999 .
It's a B ulgarian car built by Rodacar AD, a small number of these were sold by Apple 2000 Ltd. of Bury St Edmunds, and registered on an "N" prefix.

The car was never registered in France, there are still the original english papers (V5).
The engine runs excellently, I passed the German MOT controls without problems, and I drove the car personally from Bavaria to Cheshire.
The body is quite sound for it's age
    Some rust on door edges
A lot of spare parts included
I keep headlights for LH-traffic which also come with the car.
The only problem I have knowledge of is the non-working heater system.
The car is located in Crewe / Cheshire and can be visited there.
    I've added some photos.
    My price-idea is 500 GBP.

Thank you and all the best"

Leo will let the car go for 400 if the deal can be done and dusted before March 29th - sound familiar......

Please contact him direct via it may be that you have to view the car without him present as he may not be in the UK. The car itself is in the Crewe area of Cheshire
