Please read BEFORE posting a for sale or wanted ad

Due to the increase number of for sale and wanted threads appearing, the need for a few 'ground rules' has arisen.
  • Please begin your thread title with either 'FOR SALE' or 'WANTED' to avoid confusion.
  • Please state your location, even if this is available on your profile.
  • When selling, please indicate a price.
  • Where possible, please try to include pictures (this applies mostly to vehicles rather than parts) as it will improve your chances of a sale.
  • Try also posting your advert in the proper Classifieds section on the club website.
  • And finally, please post when your item has sold or you have found what you are looking for so we can close the thread to avoid unnecessary hassle.

Adverts not conforming to this structure may be locked without notice until the necessary changes are implemented to avoid the unnecessary clogging up of the forum with people repeatedly asking the same questions.

Many thanks

  • WANTED - new club member looking to purchase a Maestro

    Hi All,

I am a new club member (signed up yesterday at the Classic Car Show at the NEC) and I am looking to buy a good Maestro.
If anyone is considering parting company with one of their cars, or knows of someone who is, I would be very grateful to hear from you.

I, along with a few friends, are planning a big charity fund raising road trip next year, which will be completed in Maestros. More info to follow in the next edition of Monstro hopefully, so my hunt is very much on for a good car.

I would like to assure any potential seller that any car I purchase will be very well looked after, as are all the other cars/classics I own.

Please do get in touch if you can help.

Apologies, forgot to say that I am based in Essex, but can travel anywhere for the right car.
