I can give you a part number but finding one is not easy now. Can yours not be welded up?

Just had mine welded up in September. Was noticed during other works it was paper thin in places. Better than new now as they were not made from very think metal as new. Loaded some before and after photos. Thats basically your only option as they are rare as rocking horse ****.

If they are similar to the diesel ones (double skinned, but not very thick) it might be easier to braze or silver solder it?

Do you think that instant metal stuff might work? Or is that just a gimmick

You will have noticed mine has not been welded up to standard. Thats because my mg is lower than standard and the sump is ridiculously low anyway. Unless your going for concourse I would advise reinforcing it with plate steal at the common contact points as shown in my after photo. Because as you know if you puncher it your engine will be goosed before the oil warning light comes on. I say if your going to do a job you might as well improve on original if you can.

I did not know about the oil light coming on after the engine is goosed. I will make the sump the number one repair

Don't use that, it's good for a short time but not for a longer repair
