Thanks for replying, I think your right, making one will have to be the answer. The roof lining is better than many I've seen. The idea was to replace the cracked windscreen and at the same time replace the lining. I do have a trimmers near by but I thought I'd see if anyone might have one sat in their garage (I bet theirs one out there somewhere, lol) I'm told their is only 10 mg montego efi on the road but would love to know how many are black, any ideas on how to find out please?

There are more than 10 on the road as Austin/rover did silly things like putting them under MG or Austin or Rover and more. The how many left website data isn't correct on many levels but it gives you some idea. If you type in MG Montego a few different lists will pop up on the drop down. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/

Fuel filler pipe is a very rare part these days. You can get them fabricated and weld the top part on as that's hard to make, other than that it should be quite easy. An exhaust fabricator should be also be able to do that.
