Three shows have been suggested for the 30th June, Burnley www.burnleyclassicvehicleshow.org , Moffat https://moffatanddistrictmotorclub.org/information.html and Raby castle https://www.raby.co.uk/events/classic-car-show/ I'll not be able to take the club flag to more than one of them, so will take it to whichever show most people want to go to: cast your votes now!

Yes, plan is to meet up at the Morrison's at Quarry Moor just off the A61 at about 9.00, the main shop won't be open, but the filling station sells coffee (and E5 if you need petrol). As far as I know there should be at least 5 cars coming, 6 with yours! This should get you there on google maps: https://www.google.com/maps/@54.1224...5410&entry=ttu See you there!

Yes, I'm going and so is Norman, we may well be scattered about the field as they arrange everyone in date order, unless we have gathered enough cars up to have a club stand (we haven't!), I'll be in the rather tatty 'million mile' Montego & I think Norman is bringing his 1600...see you there

Some photos from Dalemain, Jim North's lovely Vanden Plas Maestro won second prize in class I against some pretty strong competition. As usual Wigton Motor Club did a great job of organising this event, which featured a Dog show, Autotest, some top quality catering stalls, an excellent autojumble (I'm sure the bank manager will be delighted when they find out how excellent I thought it was ha ha ha) and a wide variety of other stalls.

I missed you Johnny. Although I did spend a good while talking to Norman. Was a great show. Plenty of blmgr's on display. I never got round all the cars before people started to leave it was that big! Where was the autotest at? See you Sunday.

Norman said he'd seen you, I think I'd got sidetracked at the autojumble... the autotest was towards the north west corner of the field not sure if you'll be able to place it from the background of this photo(entrance is to the left), as you say, it was a big field with a lot of cars in it! It'll be harder to go astray at Ripon I think, see you there.

Some pictures from Ripon, a great turn out of Maestros/Montego and an enjoyable day on the club stand. Not a massive number of other cars though and an expensive day out for anyone that didn't have an advance ticket. The catering was pretty inadequate too, a show that seems to have gone downhill this year, apart from the Maestro/Montego element!

Was a great day, even with the bad weather at the end! Great to meet everyone. But yes its definitely got down hill from previous years!

Yes, the crack was pretty good on our stand and I did find a few bit & bobs on the two 'proper' autojumble stalls, but the rest of it was pretty poor. It'll be going downhill even more next year, because we won't be there! It was suggested that we'd have enjoyed it just as much if we'd set up in the Morrison's car park, it'd have been cheaper and the chances of a catering failure would have been incredibly small . I'll try to get a few of next years shows planned as early as possible, so far it sounds like Locke park, Burnley, Hebden Bridge, Dalemain, Ryhope and the lakes charity show will be going on the list, as well as Gaydon, Milton Keynes and any suggestions that you've got in mind

Ripon old cars held in July at the Racecourse was again a great event with a massive turnout.
With it been August bank holiday there were a few other shows and i think quite a few people went to Ushaw near Durham.
