I once briefly owned 131. Got it free of charge & sold it for £150. Last I heard I think the guy had blown the turbo & head gasket!

That must've taken you hours/days, John. I've just been doing the same for the Ledbury Maestros, though I've been starting from scratch...

      Nice work.

It's 189 turbos in total I think. It took me about three hours today, three hours yesterday and about an 1 hour last week. It was fascinating just sitting there tapping away

You can add #470 to your list, H76 UCG: it's recently resurfaced and is being restored by MMM contributors Ox and Pudds. Its registration is incorrectly quoted on the database as H76 VCG, having been improperly transcribed from handwritten notes.

Why is 370 not on a SORN? Has it been off the road since before 1997 or something?

#370 suffered a rear end shunt, and requires a VIC check prior to it returning to the road.

Untill that has been carried out, it cannot be sorned / taxed / or a log book applied for, as it has changed owners since its accident.

Had the P/O kept the car and had it repaired, they could have had it back on the road despite the VIC being applied to it.

                Mal.

Ah right, like mine as that was on a Cat C. I had to trailer it to Wrexham in November.

Sadly DVLA shows a car holding that reg hasn't been taxed or sorn'd since 1996. However it could also have had another reg change that we don't know about: it had two registration changes after F578 GUB, neither of which are bringing up any records....so it *could* still be around.

EDIT: Perhaps a mod or site admin could amend the list of MG Turbo registrations to amend #470 and #7 with the correct registrations.

Yes and mine is wrong as well. G194EAF is listed as the first registration. In fact it was first registered as G999OOD so should read:

                        314 White MAT 99V (4th) G194 EAF (3rd) 5 NCV (2nd) G999OOD (1st)

Number 36 is still around - it is currently in a museum in New Zealand, so you can put that one back in! There is another green one in Brisbane, Australia which is owned by an MG 'M' Group member. I'll try to see if I can find the number.
