Vernier cam pulley

Can anyone tell where I can get a Vernier cam pulley for a MG Montego I want to run my race car on a rolling road but without the ability tweak the cam timing not much point.

Hi Russell - there was never Vernier cam pulley off the shelf for the O series engine. You need to get hold of a Ford Escort CVH engine vernier pulley that are the same as O series dimention wise - however it will need an adaptor to bolt up to the MG engines camshaft. You'll need speak with your local engineer shop to make you one.

I had already thought I might have to get a Montego pulley modified by a machinist, I will look for the ford cvh pulley.
I will post the outcome.
