Posting a wanted ad

Would be grateful if some
One could advise on how to post wanted ad? I am looking to purchase a maestro and did post on cars and parts wanted last night but now can't see the post!

There's a drop down menu in a box just to the left of where you type the title of the thread you want to post up. You must select either 'for sale' or 'wanted' from the list or I don't think it will let you post.
