My old classic rally car

Just to reinforce my BL heritage, if you guys and gals will head down to your local newsagent and pick up a copy of the current issue of Practical Classics (Spring 2014 edition) then you will find a multi-page article about my old Allegro (no sniggering at the back, please) rally car.

It's currently 40 years young and still very much a viable motor, is owned by a father and son in Luton and if you attend any BL themed car shows where the ACI are in attendance, you may well see this car in the flesh.

So that's who you are! I've seen the car at loads of events, and I did know the back story too.

Its Vernon and Paul Foster (father and son) who are the current keepers of the car and it is they who take it to shows. I'm the mad b*gger that used it for it was meant for back in the 70's and 80's. If you check the article, you'll find photos of all three of us!
