Just got my Maestro clubman back from the salvage yard after being rear ended by a new driver and writting her off.
Cost of repairs £890, evaluation of vehicle £500. If you fight hard enough you can get compensation from the insurance co
for misleading information on their web site. So far I have got £260 and I am still not finished with them. Lord only knows what the legal team
have in store.
But anyway I have my check list for getting the car back on the road.
Bumper - check
end caps - check
hatch - check
rear panel repairer - check
full monies recovered - no cheque in sight.
