I have recently purchased an MG Maestro. I would love to know more about it. Where is the best place to start looking?

    Thanks,
    Wayne

Very nice too, how many owners? No MOT since 2013, quite good reading on the MOT history, last MOT hadn't done may miles for a number of years.

Hi it’s had 1 previous owner. It’s always been registered at the same address but registered in the wife’s name and the. The husbands name. I have the original log book. It has had seat covers on the rear seats from look like new. I have it booked in Wednesday for some welding on the sills. Hopefully be mot’d in the next week or so. It still has the original stereo, it was in the boot. The screen is not displaying anything but i how to get that fixed somewhere.

      cheers,
      wayne

The screen? Has it got a digital dash? Didn't realise that was even still an option on an F plate!

Welcome to the bottomless (money) pit of MG Maestro ownership

Here's some written stuff you might enjoy and find useful.

Good luck with welding and MOT and hopefully we'll see you at some Maestro meets in 2022 ?

Thank you for the documents, i have had a quick skim through them. Very interesting "rampant rust" lol. Thanks and I would 100% like to come to a meet I had and MG maestro when I was 20 and I am reliving my youth! Its an original car and needs to be enjoyed.

With the car stereo not lighting up, if it works without that you will need a car radio specialist as the display lights have failed. Not an expensive job
