Wheel bearing & hub wear issues
Nick Stafford (an ex Austin Rover mechanic) has a trick where he pock marks the hub with a centre punch before fitting the bearing to stop the bearing spinning in the hub.
Anyone else tried this (or got any other tips to make the bearings/hubs fail less quickly)? as detailed here http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=16681
Does anyone have any photos of the hub and/or bearing that can help illustrate what he means, please? I'm struggling to visualise it.
