Ahhh, the wonders of the internet! I found This website - a photographic archive of British Leyland and AR colours with their relevant codes. JNN is Eclipse Blue apparently.

    Quite a useful link...

    Good news - Thanks Simon!

I was about to ask for a few cans of it as a stocking filler, so that I can touch up a couple of areas on the two new wings I've bought for A335.

Do you think that Isopon could be classed as a stocking filler?!

Er, just a brief paint code-related question - What paint colour does JNJ refer to? I thought it was Zircon blue but I'd like to make sure!

I noticed your car had red 'piping' around the leather seats - another reason to presume the car was factory standard combining MG with VDP features. Thought it could have been a VDP 2.0 EFi converted to an MG. Did a firm coachbuild Montegos in the past then?

In an early '80s AR brochure I have, there are a couple of different shades of Leather Trim on cars like the SD1 VDP (not relevant I know, but...) and among the shades are 'Flint' which if memory serves is dark grey and 'Osprey' which is light grey (as per your car). there are others as well, if you want I can have a butchers later on.

Probably the colour of the trim, (I'm guessing it is grey)
