If it doesn't it'll blow the turbo up. The feed pipe is connected at the rear of the oil pump to the turbo via a 10mm metal pipe. Why do you ask?

My turbo is knackered, so having a hybrid one built. Had to fit an efi pump when the engine was rebuilt, so using a tee on it. One side for the oil pressure switch, the other for a braided feed hose i had made up. Just wondering if this has contributed to the turbo fail?

Well that I wouldn't know as i don't know the car, the difference with an efi pump is it hasn't got the oil feed hole. You could just drill through the blank and tap it to fit the oil feed. Making sure all is clean after though
