Tailgate screen wash tube

Hi does anyone know how to feed the tube through the tailgate there is no old tube there

It's through the top of the tailgate, there should be a hole coming out of the roof near the hinge into the tailgate

I have tried pushing it through that hole it goes down halfway the gets stuck

You may need to tape something round it that will bend round a corner. I've used cable, wiring, old bath chain before now
