    ID plate on boot floor.

    Does anyone know what the the stamped plate that is spot welded to the boot floor in a Montego means please?
    It doesn’t seem to relate to the VIN number in any way from what I can see, so just wondering.

    Unusual to be on the boot floor, you have a picture of it?

      Sorry I don’t Jeff. I’ll get one tomorrow and send it. It’s spot welded to the overhang lip that the wooden board sits on that covers the jack storage area.
