I asked to save some digging but having checked; AFU 2922 is listed as fitting "MG efi; Turbo and Vanden Plas efi" on the parts list up to VIN 464730. On the parts list 464731 "on" AFU 2922 is for VIN 464731 to 500169 but NLA and superceded by XNB10005. So going by that the later sender unit should be compatable. By coincidence this is for sale with a sender unit issue. eBay item number:305609864503 - have you given up or is this just a coincidence? Hope this helps.

Good morning. No mine has no cat. Is there a difference in the senders for cat and pre cat models? I can live without it for a bit by using the trip,but the low fuel light is annoying.

Fuel sender unit
Evening all. Recently did some work on my monty cleaning out rusty fuel tank. All cleaned back together, new pump and shes up and running. Fuel sender fell apart on removal, thought I had fixed it but it's not registering on the gauge. Seen one on eBay brand new but for mg maestro turbo. Contacted seller and says it is ok for montego efi model which I have. It's £80 plus postage. It looks the same as mine but thought would just check on here? Apparently brand new,never used. Bit more than I thought but I can't find another anywhere?
is this OK for mine and also price wise is this what I should expect to pay?
