    You need to get at it from underneath. If you've removed the seat back from the base.
    Unclip the plastic strips under the seat back and using long plyers you can squeeze the two stays together and push out the insert.
    I'm not sure if the pictures I put up when I added lumbar support are still on the thread I made. Try searching for it as it shows how to on that
