I have a spare diesel PAS pump that I could sell for not much £ if you're interested Stewart...

It looks like the later one has a ball end, whereas mine & other 'mid' ones have a barrel cable end (like a bicycle brake cable).

Trouble with that type is that the nuts don't fit over the barrel end, unless you cut a slot in them (a bit fiddly)....

I just fitted one from a 1.6, with a little bracket that shifts the end of the cable stop closer to the throttle cam....
