I believe what I have are Centre Sections only, with the oval silencer box, not whole exhausts. Both appear to be unused, or very lightly used, but they are different, and I don't know which one is right for you. Photos attached. Perhaps you can let me know which one you'd want, and if you know what...

G Reg Maestro 1.3 Special located in Mitcham, Surrey
Rather sad looking G reg 1.3 Maestro Special for sale. This is my Father-in-Law's car, but he's now gone into a Nursing Home.
He's owned her since about 1995 when I think he purchased her from his employer, as it was his company car.
Car is totally complete, but has been SORN...

Difference between Maestro and Montego exhaust tail sections?
Hi all
I have found two new looking (although slightly dented) exhaust tail sections at my father-in-law's house. I am pretty sure one is Maestro and one is Montego, but I don't know which is which, or what the differences are to be able to tell.
They are almost the same length...

Thanks Jeff, but I'm pretty sure it isn't fuel, as she starts and runs fine as long as the key is kept turned. I will check what Doctordiesel77 has suggested when I'm next with the car, but even that seems unlikely it was a sticky ignition switch when the car was taken off the road due to this problem...

Hi there. If you are after a rear section, I have what appear to be two brand new ones that I've unearthed at my Father-in-Law's house while we're clearing it. No idea of value, so open to a fair offer and ideally you collect from Mitcham or Coulsdon in Surrey, but can discuss shipping or courier collection....

Maestro Starts on Key but won't run
Hi there, my father-in-law's 1.3 petrol Maestro will start up when the ignition key is turned, and provided you keep it turned, it will run. However, as soon as you let go of the key it dies.
Does anyone know why this might be happening, so I can try and fix it before we sell the car please?...
