Timing the crank and camshaft with TD pump HELP!

Hi folks! My mate an ex engine rebuilder mechanic had the head off my TD maestro and said there's no timing marks on either crank pulley or cam shaft pulley? How can he time it back up?
I said I thought he would have marked it with tippex but nevermind it's a big favour so...
Any ideas?...

Hi, my diesel Countryman failed its MOT last month on both front springs being broken. Does anyone have any springs for sale, or complete struts? There are lots of petrol springs available but I am struggling to find diesel ones. Thanks for your help. Matt.

Hi all,

after stripping my Countryman's engine to replace the head gasket, the radiator fell apart trying to remove it, so wondered if anyone has a good secondhand one they want to sell.

Also, the sump is severely dented and oil is weeping out of a bodged repair around...

Hi all

Still got the old lady. After extensive work including head gasket it's still showing oil warning light - flickering on local journeys but solid on when hot down the motorway - puffs of black smoke esp on starting and revs.

Anyone know likely cause - head wasn't...
