    The first test in NL for the Maestro MDi diesel Van was written in August 1988 by the local well known motor journalist Dirk Schornagel.
    One of the first direct injection diesel cars made a big impression on him in particular the minimal fuel consumption but also the noise level.
    He called AR's d.i. diesel Van a "rumoerig spaarvarken", which means in English, a noisy piggybank.
    It was one of the reasons why Montego turbo diesel launch was posponed waiting for better isolation, two stage injectors and lower pass-by noise levels.
