Take it that is detailer Steve's van in the reflection of those floodlights?

What I'd like to see is a vid of the detailer doing the work, rather than the finished blinding sheen!

Quite a lot of black on his rotary (reflected in the shot of the rear wing). I guess it could be from the rubber-bits because strangely he didn't mask-up first with 3M. Wonder why?
EDIT: Tell him to get the photos posted-up on Detailing World. Makes a change from the usual stuff on there. When I've done similar details to my cars and posted up, they are always well-received by the DW regulars. This probably will be too.

It is Steve's van in the pics, a video of it? I think that would be a tad boring as he took all day on the car.

It's mighty dirty now after the photoshoot then driving home in the rain though roadworks on the A46, but I expect it to clean up easy.

With your paintwork now in pristine condition, the first thing you must do (if you haven't already) is bin all those horrid yellow cotton dusters and old t-shirts people tell you it's ok to polish your car with. Their coarse fibres introduce swirlmarks. The first blemishes on it will stand out like a nudist in a nunnery, and while I might be preaching to the already converted, you can minimize the risk of 'damage' by investing in some decent microfibres and some detailing spray, if you haven't already got either.

                        Regards

Wow, nice one! Just spent half an hour looking at those pics. The finished product is simply stunning! Hope it stayed clean for the photo-shoot? Would liked to have made it, but here it's been persisting down all day with great dollops of wind thrown into the mix! Which mag will it be in? I'll order my copy

No matter Paul, was kind of you anyway to offer.
Very windy on the day but not a lot of rain till all was finished. Kept the car clean till going home and got caught in the roadworks on the A46. They will be in the May edition of Classics Monthly.

Only if he chooses to register as a trader which will allow him to post in the post in the 'Studio' section. There is no cost for registering and posting-up in the general 'Showroom' section, as I and literally thousands of other users do.

You should join there yourself and post-up the pics. They'd make you more than welcome. and you'll get loads and loads of positive comments.
In fact when I first joined there a few years ago, the admin ('Brazo') had MG Maestro Turbo #1 as his avatar!

Though it's by far the busiest forum I've ever been on and so it can be difficult to keep track of unread posts. I didn't visit for three months and there were over 100,000 new posts!
