Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a good quality new windscreen for a Maestro?

    Thanks

    Here's the Rimmer Bros windscreen:

It's a pain to find on the website and doesn't actually state maestro but the part number is what I ordered last time.

          Hi Dave

Do you mind my asking what that cost?

Was this an insurance claim, or did you just need a new windscreen and had them supply and fit it for you?

          Cheers

I need a new one. I removed the old one myself (never again!). They supply and fit the new for £80+vat. (I do get discount with work though)

                Those prices sound quite reasonable.

Does anybody know if they can still be obtained with the coloured shadeband at the top?

No they will replace the seal. They just cut it to length of a new reel.

Yes montego a were bronze bronze. (That's bronze tint with a bronze upper sun strip.

National Mobile Windscreens are currently making one for me. They are fitting it next week for less than the cost of one from Rimmer which is an unfitted price.

The screen was fitted today. I haven't seen it yet but it was £103 incl. VAT, fitting and the seal which I didn't think was bad.
