    Hi,i am looking for a early maestro headlight switch,grey if poss,which does the side/main lights ,.

    Do you mean the one mounted on the column (rather than on the stalk). If so they are always black as far as I remember.

      ETV youre absolutely right ,on inspection the hidden part is black,[well it was once],lets go for washed out ,

        yes my switch was black and you can dismantel them to clean the contacts in side the moulding with a wire brush pen you can get from rs components or cpc but mite be trade only

            Norman,

            As far as I remember, the 'back end' of the switch is exactly the same as the headlamp switch used on Minis.

            It should be possible to get a new Mini switch and swap the rocker part for the Maestro toggle.

            Incidentally, still no news on the Equipe....
