Rover K series engine fitted with the MEMS Single Point Injection system. This engine came to me being described as only ever being run on a test bed at Rover's Longbridge Factory and has sat around ever since.
It must be one of the early engines due to the plastic cam cover and as you can see from the pictures this still has the original equipment part numbered Austin Rover oil filter, clutch and Air filter fitted.
It maybe as new or it could of been run at 6000 rpm for days on end - who knows!! That said it looks to be in good condition externally. Unsure of the size/cc as it does not have a usual K Series engine number stamped into it, but a plate stuck to the front of the block, see pics.
I am willing to beak this down into individual components so if you are after a obsolete part, or something that is very expensive let me know.
