Your photobucket Monty link is excellent...

BUT it's missing the yellow Monty I'm on about.
It was in REVS magazine and its registration number was JIB 118
That reg is now valued at just under 2 grand!!

        What happened to this car?
Think it was last heard of in Southend some years back.

I remember that article. The car was an EFi with a turbo fitted. I think I've got a copy somewhere, will try and find.

That's the one. Not sure if I've got the article or if it was available on a website. Maybe Moto-builds website at the time. Wonder how long the engine lasted with the turbo fitted? From what I remember the owner fitted a turbo to a standard comp EFi engine and increased the boost!!! I recall that article gave me inspiration to fit a turbo to my low comp Siberian spec engine which turned out to be a reliable success. Not sure it would have been with a standard comp engine!

I remember that as the online reference (can't seem to locate it anymore) but it would be sooo nice to see the 'actual' Revs article 'pages' again to see the write up on it (and blow the pics up larger too).

Anyhow, now I have the date of the mag again (Nov 96 issue) I shall be keeping a look out on Ebay for a copy unless someone can post up the actual pages here?

Renault 19 16v bonnet scoop - had been trying to remember what he'd used. Also think the M3 type door mirrors soo much better that the 'square' (ie horrible!) standard door mirrors.
Says Tickford bodykit - that's wrong, it was a Deep Star kit unless somebody tells me Tickford made it? I still have a DS rear bumper but whilst I preferred the Deep Star kit at the time, I now prefer the W&P one.
