In my opinion the car is worth it but ultimately its down to market forces as to what it will sell for. What I will say is, give it another 15 years and these cars will be changing hands for serious money as the hot hatch era comes into fashion in the classic car world. So keep them matching numbers and lots of history and you got something that will increase in value considerably more than gold will in the next 15 years.
