  • H137 LOH, BRIGHT YELLOW MG....

Well its back to Maestro ownership after breaking my TD and putting the engine into an offroader.
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150307721490
I bought the above car from Gosport and am now a little troubled by the insurance companys reaction, all they keep saying is the quote has been reffered to the underwritter????
Can anyone recommend a company that will give a descent cover at a descent price.

    Cheers

      I thought it was cheap.......

Keep looking it over to try and find where the problem is, but its a bl**dy good car. Fixed the exhaust, 1hr of welding and think its now ready for the mot.
Just need the cover to drive it once its passed.

Try Adrian Flux, when I converted myEFi to 16v I got cover with them and didnt need an engineers report,I just spoke to to their engineer over the phone. t they did was put it up one group. Not sure if its still the same as that was several years ago now, but to be worth a call

Well its on the road and annoying the local boy racers, got the insurance down to £270 fully comp with HIC. As it is an engine from another MG range they just insured it as a MG Turbo, very easy and painless transaction.
Just need to sort out some wiring loom gremlins.

No wonder you got it cheap just seen on another post it has a monty turbo engine in. Can’t see that little fact mentioned in the listing. I am sure if the guy advertised it better it would have gone for more, but his loss and your gain.

ello welcome to my auction for my mg maestro. It started life as a 2.0i white mg maestro. About 10years ago the previous owner stripped the car down to do the colour and engine change.
