    Trying to find my old Maestro...anyone?

    It went to someone off here, I'm sure..

    Old-english white 1991 Maestro LX 1.6 Auto, registration H870 DUD..damn good car, that was..

    The Astra I replaced it with got written off, the successor to that I still own in restoration (2000 Astra G), and I'm currently running a Ford Fusion Durashift..but I still have a HUGE soft spot for the DUD..

    In my previous life, I was on here as "wonko_the_sane"..but any accounts associated with it will have been terminated by now..

    The DVLA site records show that the tax expired August 2010 and that it hasn't had one of the newer digital style mot's so I would be pretty confident in saying that it isn't driving around. If it was very nice then someone may have it stored somewhere?

        That was at the end of that rubbish scheme so it could have gone there.

          Cars that were traded in against the the Scrappage Scheme with motor dealers in 2009 would have been officially scrapped through the proper process, which means the registration number would no longer show up on the DVLA's website.

          As this particular car's registration is still considered to be 'active' by the D.V.L.A., it is unlikely it would have been one of the Scrappage Scheme cars.

              It was me who had it it is long gone unfortuately was very rotten but rest assured it helped more than 4 maestros remain on the road

                  had it new for about one year
                  put 55,652 then they gave me a rover 214
                  that's why i love montegos...
