During the recent NEC show contact was made with the company who can produce new repair panels for the Maestro in order to ascertain the production timescale, as it was expected that the first panels would be available now. It transpires that a misunderstanding about order requirements has meant that nothing has happened. They require an initial order for 10 panels before they will start the manufacturing process. So, we now need commitments from members for these panels to be made. The options that could be supplied (for Maestros only at the moment) include:
LH & RH sills
LH & RH front wings plastic bumpers with no cut out for the repeaters.
RH front wing, metal bumper cars (and van?) 83-86
LH & RH rear arch repair panels.
If anyone is interested in obtaining these items, please email your request to repairpanels@maestro.org.uk so that we can keep you informed of manufacture progress. Bear in mind that the initial order will take in the order of 10 months to delivery after order placement.
