Hi John ,as you have three cars do you intend to keep them as they are or modify each for a different form of sport .
One competition car can consume alot of time and money ,i wouldn't want to take on three !
65 psi cylinder pressure has got to be rusty bores from not being used for along time , potentially all three of your cars could be in the same condition. You could be doing alot of engine rebuilding in the near future.

Yeah, I may not be able to go beyond the 1 that I have currently restored!

However, this car is due to be picked up on Saturday from the fairly useless guys at Lunar Racing who have done nothing at all on it in the 19 months they have had the car (except let it rust while sat outside).

Thankfully, Scott Dance (http://www.rallynavigator.co.uk) and Clive Bradley are taking this car on to hopefully use it for this sort of adaptive motorsport for disabled people/servicemen affected by operations e.g. http://www.projectmobilityuk.org.uk/

I thought it was the pink one that was going to be the project mobility car?

Yes, I was just quoting PM as an example of the sort of thing we are hoping to do (but it will probably be a different team to the PM team, albeit a similar concept). The Pink Maestro is currently at the PM 'Academy' in Salisbury

Unfortunately Clive is awaiting an operation so his (and therefore Scott's) ability to assist is in doubt.

Therefore, this car is available for other homes/purposes; any ideas considered...

The car is heavily rusted and will require considerable bodywork welding to restore it. I can put any interested parties in touch with Scott who has seen it recently and can describe it to you.

Some photos from Dec last year for reference (to give an idea of the car's current state)

This car was requested by the Phoenix Academy http://www.thephoenixschooltrust.co.uk/ for teaching motor mechanics to their pupils, and as such it is on long-term loan to the school in Grantham, and is stored indoors in their workshop. They have a new workshop facility being renovated and the car is due to move there when it opens in the new year.

They already have a strong line in this area e.g. http://www.thephoenixschooltrust.co....car-completed/

Unfortunately the Phoenix School have run out of steam on this project due to the challenging behaviour of their pupils (it is a specialist school for disruptive behavioural issues) so this car is now available on long term loan if anyone is interested in taking it on to restore/compete in/display as you wish?

It will be coming down from LINCS to Aylesbury, BUCKS on approx 27 Feb (but could be taken to your location if arranged before this date).

Car is eligible for Autocross, Sprints etc. in its current form. It would need a lot of work e.g. new rollcage, seats and harnesses etc. for Rally or Race usage.

I've just checked and it works OK on my computer -anyone else having problems?

You have to download the word doc that I attached in my post and then open it up.
