  • Oil cooler options

I'm looking at a genuine replacement O series oil pump housing Austin Rover BLP108 and at the oil take offs' on the side. Can I fit an oil cooler take off through these ports?

If yes, what are the fittings unf/unc/bsp/jic and their dimensions? I have an MGB oil coiler and hoses on 1/2" unions, but these seem about 4/5ths possibly 11/16ths.

Does anyone know the size of the ports on the side of the oil filter housing?

    thanks

I had one of those pumps on my O16 engine and fitted an oil cooler infront of the rad. If your using the car on the road i would recomend a thermostat. Mocol used to do one that fitted inline where both hoses went in and two to the matrix came out the othee side
