        As well as owning and being interested in the Maestro and Montego, I also drive one of the last MG ZRs to be built.

        Away from these cars my interest lies very much with classic and modern Rovers (i.e. cars that wear the Viking longship badge, rather than the convenient - and incorrect - term for all things British Leyland/Austin Rover Group/MG Rover Group). These include the Rover P5, SD1, R8 200/400, R3 200 Series (particularly the 200 BRM LE) and 75 (particularly the V8 variants which I run a historical register on).

        Also most Land Rover vehicles such as the Range Rover and Land Rover Discovery.

          Were the Cortina bodies manufactured in Britain?

            Another vote for the Triumph 2000. Always thought the Sunbeam Rapier coupe was a rather nice looking car.

                I drive a 1983 triumph acclaim and will be driving when restored a 1962 bond minicar family model with 250cc single two stoke engine with reverse(engine has 2 sets of points so engine runs in reverse,4 seats-2 full size,2 for small people.top speed 50 mph

                  Yes triumph 2000 .Haveing a dolly already I nearly had one of the 2.5 estates If ihad gone for one i wouldnt have had a monty est !!
