  • Any Teachers Here??

Right, I know this may sound an odd request but just bear with me for a few seconds.

I have just over a year left to serve in my current job and currently I'm at a cross roads on what to do next.

I have a few options available to me but a fellow service leaver has sewn the seed to take a good long look at becoming a teacher

This has never really been thought about but with some of the skills and experience I have it 'could' be another avenue to explore.

One course that I will be investigating at work is the PTLLS and CTTLS qualification as I can claim some of my current teaching/instructing as evidence towards them.

My question is, what would I need to achieve to see this a worthy option?

Any top tips or advice will be greatly appreciated.

I think you would make a damn fine teacher Lee.

I think a lot of investigation is in order, starting with my Cousin in law who is a teacher!.

Cheers Mal, any tips would be good.

I already have some leads on other options but dont really fancy working in afghan as a contractor which over the last week 2 offers have been made!! Nice but no thanks...

Sam, I will see if they want to offer advice. Its more of a 'best approach' to getting into teaching or as Mal has metioned to me possibly instructing instead?
